What a day! Our June Bunnings BBQ was a sizzling success — we raised an incredible $4,421.85, and after expenses of $1,122, that’s a fantastic $3,299.85 straight into the club’s fundraising account! 🌭💰 October 23, 2025 [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) 1 Min Read What a day! Our **June Bunnings BBQ** was a sizzling success — we raised an incredible **$4,421.85**, and after expenses of $1,122, that’s a fantastic **$3,299.85** straight into the club’s fundraising account! 🌭💰 A huge **thank you** to everyone who popped down to lend a hand — from the sausage-flipping masters on the grill to the friendly faces serving customers. Your teamwork, smiles, and energy made all the difference. And an extra shout-out to everyone who donated sausages, onions, and their time to make the day such a success — we couldn’t have done it without you. 🙌 --- ### 🎄 **Next Up: Friday 19 December** Our **next Bunnings BBQ** is locked in for **Friday 19 December** at **Bunnings Maroochydore** — and we’re going to need all hands on deck! This one promises to be *huge*, and with the summer heat, we’ll be keeping shifts to just **two hours each** so everyone can still get on with their Christmas shopping and celebrations. The more helpers we have, the easier it’ll be to rotate and keep everyone cool and happy — so please, if you can spare a couple of hours, pop your name down when the volunteer roster goes up. Donations of **sausages and onions** are also very welcome (and very appreciated!). --- Together, we’re not just cooking up sausages — we’re cooking up a stronger future for youth rowing on the Sunshine Coast. 🚣‍♀️❤️ See you at the next one — tongs in hand! ![Secretary - author image](https://rowing.mrrc.club/hubfs/mrrc%20logo.png) #### [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) [Previous Post Previous Post](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/competition-time-win-a-pair-of-apple-airpods-4) 🎧 Competition Time – Win a Pair of Apple AirPods 4!
