We are thrilled to announce that Maroochy River Rowing Club has been successful in securing a $15,000 grant from the Sunshine Coast Council through their Major Sport and Recreation Grants program. This generous support means we are now placing an order this week for a brand-new Laszlo Coxless Quad/Four (4x/4-) competition hull—a major step forward for our club and our athletes.
This is a huge win for our rowers, coaches, and entire club community as we continue to grow and strengthen our fleet with high-performance equipment. We are incredibly grateful to Sunshine Coast Council for believing in our mission and supporting our next generation of champions.
However, we’re only halfway there.
To finalise this purchase, we now need to raise the remaining $15,000 to cover the full cost of the new boat. Every dollar helps, and all donations are tax-deductible.
