May 02, 2025 [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) 2 Min Read We are proud to unveil our **new logo and branding** for Maroochy River Rowing Club—a fresh and modern look that captures who we are and where we’re headed. Our new identity features the powerful image of a **black swan in motion**, wings lifted in flight. The black swan, native to our river and iconic in Queensland’s landscape, is a perfect representation of our athletes and our club—**elegant, strong, resilient, and uniquely local**. ### What the Branding Represents This logo marks more than just a visual refresh—it symbolises a club that is: - **Rising boldly** with ambition and confidence. - **Committed to excellence**, both on and off the water. - **Grounded in community**, with deep roots on the Sunshine Coast. - **Focused on youth development**, character-building, and high performance. The clean, confident curves of the swan reflect the power and grace of rowing itself—our sport is about precision, rhythm, teamwork, and drive. The vivid red beak is a small but striking reminder of our energy and bold vision. ### What This Means for Our Club You’ll start seeing this logo rolled out across: - Uniforms and zooties - Boat signage and oars - Social media, website, and print material - Event merchandise and promotional gear This update is part of a larger strategic vision to **position Maroochy River Rowing Club as a leading force in youth rowing**—not just on the Sunshine Coast, but across Queensland and Australia. It reflects our commitment to being a club that nurtures not only rowers, but **resilient, respectful, and ambitious young people**. ### Who We Hope Our Rowers Will Become This branding reflects our hopes for every athlete who walks through our boathouse doors: - That they grow in **strength and humility** - That they value **teamwork and discipline** - That they row with **grit and grace** - And that they carry the spirit of this club wherever life takes them We're proud of our past, energised in the present, and excited for the future. This rebrand is a powerful reminder: **we are Maroochy—local in heart, national in vision, and always moving forward.** Stay tuned as we roll out the new look. Let’s fly. Let’s row. Let’s rise. #MaroochyRiverRowingClub #NewLookSameHeart #FlyLikeASwan #FutureInMotion ![Secretary - author image](https://rowing.mrrc.club/hubfs/mrrc%20logo.png) #### [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) [Previous Post Previous Post](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/south-queensland-schools-regatta-series-kicks-off-this-weekend) South Queensland Schools Regatta Series Kicks Off This Weekend!
