Have you ever watched the boats glide across the Maroochy River at sunrise and thought — “I’d love to try that!”Now’s your chance! 🌞 October 22, 2025 [Secretary Written by Secretary](https://rowing.mrrc.club/blog/author/secretary) 2 Min Read Have you ever watched the boats glide across the Maroochy River at sunrise and thought — *“I’d love to try that!”* Now’s your chance! 🌞 We’re excited to announce **two upcoming Learn to Row programs** at **Maroochy River Rowing Club** — one in **December** and another in **January** — perfect for anyone keen to give rowing a go before the new school year. ### 💪 What You’ll Learn Over the course of the program, participants will: - Learn the fundamentals of rowing technique and water safety - Build strength, balance, and coordination both on and off the water - Work as part of a crew — teamwork is everything in rowing! - Gain confidence and fitness while having loads of fun on the beautiful Maroochy River ### 👦👧 Who Can Join Our Learn to Row sessions are designed for **young people in Years 6–12**, and **university-aged beginners** (up to age 27) who want to try something new. No experience is needed — just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get out on the water!
